First of all... what an incredible weekend. I was with my girls Molly from Miss K's Little Rays, Sara from Life in the Fast Lane, and Nicole from Beginnings with Baer. We set out at 5:30 a.m. for our weekend trip to French Lick.
We arrived about 11:30, checked into our room and then headed downstairs for the start of our Teacher Blogger Meetup. Holly Ehle from Mrs. Ehle's Kindergarten Connections is amazing! Holly and her team had a wonderful lunch planned for us followed by a day of friendship making, round table discussions and lots of learning. I went to sessions on How to Fit It All In, Blogging 101 and Centers 101. I gained so much from the presenters and am excited to implement new ideas in my classroom. The theme of the weekend was Take Your Passion and Make it Happen! I rediscovered my passion and I was able to do so with some of my closest friends and others friends I had just met! TPT was also there and these ladies are amazing. They are so positive and I think TPT is awesome!
Some old friends and some new friends!
I also loved the teacher swap! Each teacher that wanted to participate was to bring a small teacher gift that other teachers would love as well. I got some scented chapstick to make "smelly smileys"!
I also won a Clip Art Bundle from Creative Clips Digital Clip Art!We also received amazing swag bags from soooo many sponsors. Please see the amazing list of sponsors listed below!
From there we went to dinner and to check out the casino. Much to my dismay, I did not win anything, but I did not lose much either :).
The best part of the weekend was the amazing 80's party at night!!! It was so much fun! GoNoodle had a photbooth and we loved getting pictures. Teachers love photo booths! How much fun was it?? Well girls just wanna have fun and we did.....
To sum it up, what a fun weekend of relaxation, friends, and learning. Can't wait until the next one! Please check out the amazing sponsors!
